private podiatry

in agony, please help?
hi i am 16 year old guy. i have a in growing toenail. had it for a year, been to a private podiatry and they fixed it for a few days and it just started again after 3 days. i been to another podiatry who isn’t as near to me and they never done much good. been to the doctor and they say it needs to be taken off so they sending me back to the same podiatry. i have been told by someone else that the podiatry that the doctor is sending me to is rubbish by someone else who told me to go to the hospital as they are much better and have more equipment, i phoned my hospital and they said they need a referral from the doctor. will the doctor give me a referral to go to the hospitals podiatry unit and i dont want to be a pest, but my toe is in agony and life just isn’t fun with it like this.
ALSO: I NEED TO GET A DPT IMMUNISATION IN A COUPLE OF MONTHS- where do they stick the needle, i have heard people say it is in the butt, dont no if they are just kiddin me on.
Your doctor is obligated to give you a referral if you ask for one.
That is your right as a patient.
As far as I know DPT is given intramuscularly.
For children they do it in the butt because that hurts less.
Since you are 16 they can choose to give it to you in your arm.
