Is it possible to get bunions in 7 weeks?

i’ve been wearing pointed toe shoes with a very slight heel for only 7 weeks now, almost on daily basis. Is it possible that bunions would develop that fast? I have very pronounced bumps on both of my feet that were not there before I began wearing the shoes. Will the bumps go away if I stop wearing the shoes?

no, you cannot get bunions after 7 weeks. a bunion is basically a dislocation of your big toe, calcium then gets deposited on the “knuckle” which causes the bunion, it can only be fixed with surgery and can come back later. bunions are usually inherited, it has to do with the height of your arch and your feet rolling inward. pointy toed shoes only make bunions worse.

the bumps you have are most likely callouses, which will go away over time after you switch to shoes that don’t irritate that area.
