diabetic foot problems

Foot problems?
This sounds disgusting, but please be mature about it. The bottom of my left foot gets dry and kinda scaly like. The skin dies and drys out and I have to keep cutting off the dead skin. Sometimes that piece of skin on the bottom between the foot and toe splits open. It’s rather embarassing and painful at times. Since I have no medical insurance I wanted to know what this may be and how to treat it. I am borderline diabetic and have heard that diabetics need to take foot problems seriously.
You need to keep your feet clean. Making sure you dry them real good after cleaning your feet. They sell antifungal cream at Wall-Mart that is cheap and works great. Just apply a thin layer over the affected area twice daily. Get between the toes and wear well fitting, ventilating shoes. Change your socks and shoes at least once daily. You may have to buy a special stone to remove the scaly dead skin on the bottom of your feet. Keep doing this for four weeks. If this doesn’t help call a doctor. Also make sure you clean you bath tub good. Then wipe it down with bleach to kill any fungus.
That should clear the foot problem.
